Back in 2011, there was a wave of random information from various sites and blogs about an upcoming global spiritual awakening. Various articles emphasized not only the Earth’s physical transformation but a transformation of human conciseness as well as a spiritual awakening.

While some people were predicting the “end of the world” scenario, others viewed this time period as the end of the age cycle and an approaching new era. When natural disasters started to occur on a regular basis in 2012 such as the Atlantic hurricane season and deadly hurricanes such as Ernesto, Isaac, and Sandy, deadly earthquakes in Iran and Afghanistan, the large 6.7 earthquake in the Philippines, flooding in Beijing, China, a heatwave in North America, wildfires in Oklahoma and Colorado, Pacific typhoon season and more.

While these devastating events took many lives and damaged many locations, the beginning of the Earth’s physical transformation may simply indicate the completion of one of the biggest cycles on Earth before the emergence of a new era.

Similar to the biological life cycle where all biological organisms are undergoing a series of changes from the start to finish, there are life cycles in cosmic realms. A curious enough person may notice that life on the Earth and in the Universe is not only built with an intelligent design and strict sacred geometry patterns but that everything is timed perfectly.

Our physical world is often described as a system of grids that contains a virtual reality filled with programs, with the time that only exists in our system of grids. The physical grid is an n-dimensional space where each cell in the grid can be addressed by an index in two or more dimensions.

As modern astrologers calculated, Earth’s axis of rotation cycle involves the gradual change in the Earth’s axis of rotation. It is called the Precession of the Equinoxes. Like the transition from the night to the new day and from winter to summer, our current era is moving through the age of darkness and into the light after completing a 26,000-year cycle eventually leading to the age of so-called “spiritual awakening”.

Ancient tribes around the globe knew about it very well. Spiritual communities believe that we have reached the end of a 16-billion-year cycle of evolution. They are expecting the perfect astrological recipe for spiritual awakening to be completed in the year 2020.

The End Of The Age Cycle in Ancient Calendars

Ancient Greeks believed that the history of civilization circulates in 80-to-100-year cycles that they called “Saecula.” At some point in a saeculum’s end, there would be an “ekpyrosis” period – a cataclysmic event that destroys the old order and brings in a new one in a trial of fire. This process is also described in the Strauss-Howe generational theory, designed by William Strauss and Neil Howe. They theorized that this era of change is known as the “Fourth Turning” and Howe and Strauss believe we are in the midst of one right now.

Hindu Cosmology

Those who have studied Hindu scriptures reveal that very few of these scriptures contain actual proper and accurate texts, and it is believed that only the Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita contain accurate information and a full encyclopedia.

According to modern science, life on Earth began 3.8 billion years ago and the Earth is close to 4.6 billion years old. In Hindu cosmology, the universe has existed for about 4.32 billion years (it is called “one day of Brahma,” the Creator or Kalpa-aeon), and then it is destroyed by fire or water elements. After that, Brahma rests for one day and one night. Hindus call this process “Pralaya” in Sanskrit (meaning “Cataclysm”) that repeats for 100 years (311 trillion, 40 billion human years) and represents Brahma’s lifespan.

The concept is very similar to the 7-day creation process described in Genesis 1 where “one day” can actually be equal to many human years instead of one Earth day when God created the Earth in six days and then rested on the seventh day.

In Mahabharata cosmology, 12 months of Brahma equals 360 days and 100 such years is the life cycle of the Universe. It is believed that fifty years of Brahma are supposed to have elapsed, and our civilization is now in the “Shvetavaraha Kalpa” of the fifty-first year period. At the end of a Kalpa, civilization is annihilated.

The Puranas believed that the Universe was created, destroyed, and re-created in a repetitive series of cycles, where Brahma Ji created the whole world and the Universe at the order of Lord Almighty Vishnu.

The Hindus separated the 24,000-year cycle into four epochs: Kali-yuga, Dvapara-yuga, Treta-yuga (ascending), and Saatya-Yuga. The Satya-Yuga, lasts 4800 demigods years, the Treta-Yuga lasts 3600 demigods years, and the Dvapara-Yuga lasts 2400 demigods years. The last one, Kali-Yuga, lasts 1200 demigods years.

Each cycle represents distinct themes and spiritual lessons for humanity. According to their cosmological beliefs, the Universe was cyclically created and destroyed in the time span of 8.64 billion years.

During the Yuga cycle, there will be a progression from a golden age of peace and spiritual progress to spiritual degradation and the final age of violence. It is believed that we are currently in the Kali Yuga (Iron Age), with the entire world being in disharmony, nations at war and humanity being too obsessed with worldly matters.

Ancient Mayan Cosmology

The Ancient Mayans were aware of the complete planet and cycle alignment of the twelve constellations that are described in the astrological zodiac. According to their calculations, our planet aligns with other planets and the sun only once every 26,000 years, thus passing through the complete cycle of twelve constellations.

Not only the Mayans, but the elders of the Hopi, Inka, and Laika tribes also knew this. The Mayan calendar was made in Aztec stone 5,000 years ago displaying 5125 years and started on August 11, 3114 BC. The cycle is supposed to end on 12-21-12 Winter Solstice.

The Mayan’s Long Count Calendar is based on the precession of the equinoxes (Earth’s axis of rotation) and solstices, which is about 5125.36 years. The precession of the equinoxes, which is almost a 26,000-year cycle, fits into the 5 Mayan cycles (25,627 years).

This calendar is not only the longest calendar but is also a map and a star chart that precisely charts the motion of every celestial body in the galaxy for 5125.36 years. It shows everything right down to the Earth’s axis of rotation, as the Earth aligns 23 1/2” degrees of its axis while in its elliptical orbit is almost 26,000 years.

The Mayans believed that this nearly 26,000-year cycle was equal to one day. The Pyramid of the Sun outside Mexico City at Teotihuacan is said to be aligned with the Pleiades. Some scholars have calculated that about 60 days after the appearance of the pyramid’s shadow, after the sun extends its zenith over the pyramid at mid-day (May 20 – May 23), there is another direct alignment with the Pleiades and the center of our Galaxy.

The ancient Mayans knew about the settings of the Universe, the rare solar eclipse alignment, and the countdown. Alcyone is the brightest star in the Pleiades constellation. Our solar system orbits Alcyone every 25,627 years.

The end of the cycle will mark the precession of the final equinox in this 26,000-year cycle of equinoxes. The current precession cycle was completed on December 21st, 2012 as our solar system entered the photon belt (a toric field of energy that emanates out from Alcyone in the Pleiades).

Our Sun takes nearly 26,000 years to complete its precession of the Equinoxes while orbiting Alcyone.

As our solar system enters the photon belt’s toric field, we spend 2,000 years in the ‘light’ phase, then 11,000 years in the ‘dark’ phase, then 2,000 years in the ‘light’, and then 11,000 years in the ‘dark’. This will make our full 26,000-year cycle.

The last time our Solar System was fully in the photon belt was when we were in the Age of Leo. That time was also believed to be the downfall of the ancient civilization Atlantis as described by Plato.

Ancient Egypt

The Ancient Egyptians were known to meticulously record their historical records and the birth of their civilization as well as the eternal motion of the Sun and the stars. During that time, astronomer-priests observed the motion of celestial bodies to determine the hours of the day and night, changes in the seasons, flooding of the Nile, the planting and harvesting of their crops, etc.

Knowledge of the cycles of the Earth was crucial for their survival. The main cycle of even bigger duration was closely linked with the motion of the Belt Stars of the Orion constellation, making the pyramids of Giza a monumental “astronomical alarm clock”.

Every analog clock is constructed with the clock hands moving around the clock face and they work according to sunrise and sunset (1 solar day). Two full clockwise motions (midnight to noon to midnight) are equivalent to 1 solar day of 24 hours and can be subdivided into 12 hours of the night and 12 hours of light.

The Giza Astronomical Clock is a clock that measures not hours but a duration of 25,920 years. The timing mechanism of the Giza Astronomical Clock is based on the location of the stars.

Each night, astronomers can easily observe the changes and location of the stars in the sky in an east-to-west direction due to the Earth’s daily (diurnal) rotation. However, because of a slight unsteady movement of the Earth’s polar axis, the appearance of the stars in the night sky drifts (precession) in an imperceptibly slow west-to-east direction.

This slow west-to-east precessional drift of 360 degrees equates to approximately 72 years for every degree of the circle or clock face. Thus, 72 years x 360 degrees equates to a precession clock length of 25,920 years.

This is to say that approximately 25,920 solar years are equal to 1 precessional year and, of course, 12,960 years in the precessional half-cycle. Not only does the clock show the minimum culmination of the belt stars, but it can also reveal the maximum culmination of these stars which occurred in the year 2,460 BCE.

By using the final date, the Giza astronomical clock can be (re)set and begin the 666-year countdown again. If we need any evidence to support this cycle we need to look no further than the Dream Stele. Read a full research article on the grahamhancock.com website.

The End of the Age in The Bible

In the Bible, Matthew 24:3 – 14 speaks about the end of the world cycle as well. When Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came and asked what the sign of Jesus’ second coming would be “of the close of the age”. Jesus told them they would hear about wars and rumors of wars, but they shouldn’t be alarmed. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places and there will be a time of trouble. According to Jesus’ words:

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end (of the age) will come.

As our planet is moving towards a new era, the Earth has to go through a big period of tribulation, through a time of trouble and destruction, and the actual process of the transformation of the Earth may take many years.

Magnetism could be the main reason for solar activity, and explosions on the sun are not localized or isolated events. Coronal mass ejection, solar flares, or tsunamis can all happen simultaneously hundreds of thousands of miles apart causing coordinated chaos.

For many people in the spiritual community, this planetary alignment or universal shift event was a very significant indicator of the beginning of a global spiritual awakening, a time of spiritual transformation as we approach a Golden Age era of rest and peace.

Many ancient tribes around the globe believed that during the saeculum’s end at some point, there would come a cataclysmic event that destroys the old order and brings in a new one through a trial of fire. As our civilization moves through the Iron Age period, there will be violence and injustice dominating the world.

It’s a big possibility that Mother Nature itself is going to come in full force and there will be a lot of destruction all over the Earth. Interestingly, ancient people believed that constant correction and eternal reformation were needed at all times, especially throughout the modern era. No matter how wild nature will respond to the end of the age cycle, the spiritual awakening around the world will help us to go through the cycle, help us to transform, and grow spiritually.
