The Law of Attraction often gets confused with positive thinking or positive psychology for achieving business or personal goals. The Law of Attraction involves more than just staying positive all the time or following a number of easy steps. It is a complex process that takes place when certain conditions are met.
The Law of Attraction can help anybody who uses it properly. The Law of Attraction is not dependent on how talented a person is, how intellectually brilliant he is or how hard he works at his job. The Law of Attraction should not be mixed with the Bible teachings as it is part of the psychology series and not religion.
It doesn’t depend on the environment or economic conditions the person lives in. Some individuals may have very little talent or be the least smart people you’ve met, but they can achieve their goals fast.
As the Law of Attraction states, there is no limit to what the Creator can supply. All organic and inorganic forms found in nature have different shapes and texture but are made from the same original matter. Many things are just a different presentation of the same elements.
Every form and process in nature is a visible expression of the Creator’s thoughts. The creative energy of the Creator is constantly producing more forms to express itself fully. Anytime the Creator thinks about a certain form, the formless objects will take the form or shape of that thought.
The supply from the universe is endless. When all of the supply is used, more will be produced. For example, if there is not enough soil to grow food and materials for clothing, the old soil will be regenerated and more land is created.
There is a limitless supply of everything for everybody when people accept that fact and take the actions needed to receive it from the universe.
Below, I have summarized the basic steps of the Law of Attraction that will help you achieve your goals.
Step 1. Know Exactly What You Need In Life
When you know what you need in life, great things can happen. You can manifest a lot when you have a specific goal in mind. Knowing what you need will help to make everything work on your side.
Don’t just think in broad terms, however. If you think about having a better life, this is a very broad thought. You should know exactly what a ‘better life’ means to you, so be as specific as possible with your thoughts.
For example, an individual studying to become a doctor can hold a vision of himself as a successful professional healer. He faithfully and purposefully works toward the vision. Having a clear vision will align him closer to the Creator which in turn will make him successful.
Set your intentions the right way and it will move all things toward its fulfillment. It is essential, however, that your goals stay in harmony with a purpose that will benefit everyone around you. Your goals should not be solely to have pleasure, to satisfy your desires or to outshine others.
Do you want to be happy? Figure out what makes you happy and write it down. Have a mental picture of the desired outcome. Include as many details as possible and feel it as if you already have it. Visualize that picture daily and stay focused on the final results.
Start off small by making a list of little goals to reach your dreams. You can also make a plan with small steps to follow daily.
Thinking in a Certain Way
If you need to manifest something in your life, think about it in a detailed way. This image in your mind will take a certain form or shape. Send your thought-form to the universe so it will start to create the form you are thinking about. Think about your goals daily and make that a natural habit. There will be no sudden materialization, but a gradual execution of the plan by the creative energies.
Don’t focus on the things you don’t want to appear in your life. For example, to overcome sickness, realize that this is the only appearance of the disease. In reality, you need to be healthy, so you must visualize becoming healthy. You will easily find the right solution, or the universe will send you the best medical specialists or wonderful people to take care of you.
The moment you let your mind dwell on your dissatisfaction with things as they are, your thoughts will take the form of your complaint and attract more of the same. Instead, focus your attention on the best things you need to manifest. Think and speak about everything in terms of advancement and final solutions, not a disappointment.
Step 2: Take Action
When you focus on your goals, you will attract what you need, but to get results, you have to take action. The action step is an important one. The Law of Attraction doesn’t work without taking any action.
The Law of Inspired Action tells us there is more to the Law of Attraction than simply imagining that you already have all the great things you need. It tells us we should take some action to receive what we need.
Our actions don’t need to be huge. Taking an action is simply doing things that align and support the thoughts you think, the words you speak, and the feelings you have about your final goal. Most of the time, starting off with a small action is enough to get the manifestation wheels in motion.
The universe can’t bring your request physically to you, however. It responds by sending you signs, hunches, and signals, and you receive guidance through your intuition. The universe usually works through us.
The Creator uses everyone to organize His way and to distribute things around the world. He is seeking expression through His creation and experiences things through humanity.
If you are looking for a new job or business, hold a vision of yourself in that business. Think about what your daily tasks will be. Fill your vision with purpose and faith. Think about the skills and natural talents you possess to do that job successfully. Soon, you will notice how the universe is moving the right business toward you, and your actions will move you closer toward the business.
Step 3: Don’t Be Too Competitive
The Law of Attraction teaches us that we need to get rid of a competition mindset. When creating your own things, it is a bad idea to compete for what is already created. The individuals who are constantly competing with others are never satisfied with their results and always worry that it will not last. If your final goal is aligned with a higher purpose, and you are in harmony with the creation you will always succeed.
Divine is always creative and never competitive in spirit:
…man must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; otherwise, he cannot be in harmony with the Formless Intelligence, which is always creative and never competitive in spirit. – Wallace D. Wattles.
The same applies to lying or taking advantage of others for someone’s own gain. You should not set your willpower to anything outside of yourself. You have no right to force other men and women to do anything for you against their will.
Do not use unethical means, manipulation or magic rituals to attract or harm others in any way. Use your willpower only on yourself and keep your mind at home.
Step 4: Express Gratitude
Gratitude keeps you in close harmony with creative thought. It prevents you from thinking competitively and brings you closer to the Creator.
By feeling deep and profound gratitude, you are relating yourself to God. Gratitude makes you acknowledge things. According to the Law of Gratitude, the closer you are to the Creator, the more grateful you will become. As a result, more abundance and blessings will come your way.
The Law of Attraction teaches that we must give every man more in use value than we are paid in cash value. When we give more, we get more back. According to the old saying, “What I want for myself, I want for everybody.”
While you are thinking about what you need, form a distinct and clear mental image of your final results. Hold a clear image of the goal, and then express the gratitude that you will get what you need.
Step 5: Have Faith
Another basic step is to stop worrying about the hows! At the deepest core level, most people don’t believe it is possible to get what they need without certain knowledge, skills or special connections. Doubt, fear, and disbelief hold them back from fulfilling their purpose.
In the past, many ancient philosophers and teachers placed great emphasis on an individual’s faith. Jesus, for example, was very focused on faith and taught a lot about it:
For this reason I tell you, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. – Mark 11:24
When people have strong faith, wonderful things happen. To recover from disease, for example, they focus strongly on healing and not the disease. To receive the desired item, they focus on the item and not that the item is missing from their life.
The Law of Attraction often involves many steps: defining your goal, thinking in a certain way, taking action, expressing your gratitude, and more. The last important step is to forget all the troubles and bad experiences from your past and focus on the things that are best for you.
